Schools Campaign 2018

IF WE TRAIN THE MIND,

WITHOUT TRAINING THE HEART, WE HAVE FAILED IN EVERYTING. –Aristotle

We believe in the new generation and in their potential to bring social change.
For this reason we have outligned a modern, interactive presentation about the issue of human trafficking, with rich audiovisual content and a wakeful message adjusted to the needs, possibilities and language of the young generation. Hope Spot team, with licence from the Ministry of Education, has been visiting the last 3 years the public and private schools of our country, presenting the problem of human trafficking, the dangers, ways of protection, and ways someone can volunteer to offer help.

The title of our campaing is:
"WAKE UP_THE WORLD_WON'T CHANGE ON ITS OWN"
Our cooperation with the schools and other educational departments , was amazing. Every year we receive thank you letters from school's prinicipals and teachers, and this brings us a great joy!

This year we visited 17 schools, we did 30 presentations and we informed 2.263 students. It was the greatest number of students we had through all the years that we have been running this school's campaign.

But, the greatest reward for us, is the response from the students. The comments by students during the presentatins and on the questionaires that they get to fill in at the end, really are a great encouragement to us. They express themselves with compassion, respect towards the victims, they anwer with sincerety and they want to fight injustice and exploitation of people. They also express their wish for presentations like these to happen more in their schools. For us, this is the loudest message of hope.
